I made this dress years ago and it is still one of my favorite pieces. I love those little floral sprigs on the brown background. Brown is one of those colors that I think works for any time of year, yes, even in the final days of summer. For this wearing, I'm leaning into dressing it for summer by adding white vintage heels, gloves, and then a pink straw tilt hat.
