A Little Black 40s Dress for Spring

 

A little black dress during the day for spring?? Yes! I love a little black dress, and I think a black dress can be dressed up for any occasion or season. Especially spring. Actually, I think black for spring is very becoming because it can look so sharp and fresh with white or off-white accessories and a pop of color. For today's look, this little black dress is paired with a cream-colored straw hat with bunches of violets. To accentuate the violets, I added a corsage of felt violets that I made. Too many violets? I think not.
