Who I Am

 Hello there stranger, 

I'm Norma Williams, or at least that's my stage name. I wear vintage every day that I can because I love the look of old Hollywood glamour and the average everyday looks our great grandparents wore. I think vintage is timeless, a classic, and can be worn anywhere and everywhere. I mean, if someone can wear pajamas to jury duty, then why can't I wear a smart two-piece tailored suit from the 40s? 

I started to wear vintage back before 2016 and have never looked back. My totally vintage wardrobe has taken me years to build and has been a labor of love. I started with mostly pieces I made myself with vintage patterns and notions and then very gradually I started to add true vintage. Today my wardrobe is a blend of original vintage and my own pieces made from vintage patterns and notions and materials. 

I prefer a more authentic look. A look inspired directly from the past. My favorite sources of inspiration are old movies, magazines, photographs, and stories from my family reminiscing about the clothes they grew up wearing. I believe clothes are a reflection of the individual and I guess I am an old soul in a modern world trying to bring back the glamour of the past.
