Inspecting the Blooms in a Lavender 1950s Suit

 

I think this suit is from either the late 40s or the early 50s but either way, it is a beautiful suit in this smoky lavender. With it is a new to me cream straw hat with a large bunch of violets from the 1930s. I have long admired this hat and when I had saved up enough to purchase it, I did. It has been the perfect spring hat and it pairs so well with numerous suits and dresses already in my wardrobe. Right now, spring is in full swing and it is beautiful. For the first time in years, my pear tree has blossoms. The last couple years we were hit with frost or drought, and the blooms were far from plentiful (let alone even there!). It looks like this spring will be different and I plan on taking full advantage of it.
