This dress is such a dream! This dramatic wool 1940s color blocked dress in red and black is so what vintage dreams are made of. The cut of this dress is like a tunic over a skirt and mimics the look of separates. With it, I chose a simple black felt hat, pearls, black gloves, and later you will see an incredible set of silver fox accessories - a muff purse and collar to match! All of these items were from my "wish list" and took me months to find and then save up for. I am in love with this look.
Right now, my new favorite vintage item are fur muff purses - they are warm, dramatic, and just downright cool. When I found this fur muff and collar set on Poshmark, I had to have it and I was lucky enough to have saved up enough to score it. I think it is so unique and the plastic eyes on the muff really give it some personality. I know fur is not everyone's cup of tea, but then again neither am I so I think that makes it a perfect match for me and my wardrobe.
