Pink and Grey

Is there a color combination more sophisticated than grey with a bright bold color like fuchsia? I am sure there is but until I find it, this is it for me. This look is made up of all separates, the skirt from a skirt suit set, a grey blazer and then a blouse underneath. The pink tilt hat with feather is a close match to the pink in the skirt. The hat was found from Emily's Vintage Visions years ago and I had to have it because it was a match to a suit I already owned and purchased from Over Attired vintage a year or two prior to finding the hat. It was the most expensive suit I had ever purchased and today it has more than paid for itself as a wardrobe staple. What has really helped this suit pay for itself is how much it can be worn with different accessories and wardrobe items like other suit jackets and skirts and even dresses. It's flexible in many ways.

Since I wanted to add another element of color to this look aside from pink and grey, I added this beaded blouse from FabGabs Vintage. The navy-blue beads are a nice hint of additional color and interest. The celluloid orchids? A find from a local antique shop. I think they are an interesting corsage and is a great way of showing that two broches can be worn together for interest or else solo.
