Another formal Christmas look for you today. This gown was purchased for a charity event in the spring and since then it has been worn a couple more times. I think it is pretty even in the winter for a fresh Christmas look using minty greens and pink. Is this gown mint or seafoam? Doesn't matter too much, it's a gorgeous gown. When I bought it, I had to do some repair work in the underarm, but it was such a simple fix and hidden by the sleeve when worn. I confess, if you want gorgeous vintage for a better price, look for garments that need a little repair work. Sometimes they can be found for a bargain price. However, keep in mind not all garments can be saved and do not choose something that requires repairs beyond your skill.
My little tradition is adding a Christmas corsage to my collection each year. One year I had to have a pink one and I am crazy about it. This one has pink roses and pink metal beads. I try to get a different color theme each year. I am not sure what color I want this year. I think Christmas corsages are such a fun way to make something festive.
