This Memorial Day weekend I took the time to tie up some loose ends and tried to relax before the farming season really picks up. I have had a couple ask why I do not post about my day job on here, that's because this is my place to have fun and get away from work for a while. This weekend was especially nice - warm but not too hot and a slight breeze. Perfect for this cotton dress from Revival Vintage UK. I love this print, it's just so happy.
As of late, I have been really busy. I have been buckling down and sorting through my wardrobe from hats to gloves to everything. I gave everything a hard look and decided to part with a LOT! I think I have more clothes any normal person really needs so I have already parted with a considerable amount. It feels so good to part with certain pieces. It's almost like getting another chance at life and being given a second re start. Why? Because the funds from selling my old clothes have been going towards reviving my rose garden, giving my house a good re decorating, and I have bought a couple new items. . .Yes, I know, the irony. Selling old clothes just to buy new old clothes. Life, right now, feels like it is going to be getting better. Maybe even better than ever before. My new goal for this year is to get out and do more things that I want to do. Already on the calendar I'm planning on going to a concert, a vintage fare, and more. I am so looking forward to this year and next year too.
Wohoo, you're back! :-D And yes, sometimes it's important to leave things behind for a clean restart.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear about the plans and positive vibes in your life. I'm looking forward to some blogposts after the vintage fare etc., too. :)
