With this dress I paired it with black. Vintage black beaded necklace and earrings and 1940s black patent pumps. This is going to sound so silly, but I am loving the luxury of being to buy clothes. When I first got into vintage making my own pieces was the only option. Real vintage was vastly out of my budget or size range and reproduction stuff was something I did not know was a thing. I started getting into wearing vintage way before I had internet access! Before the internet, my best resources for vintage were local shops, my inspiration came from books I got from the store or school library. Fast forward a "few" years and now I have the great fortune to afford and have access to amazing reproduction clothes like this dress. Thanks to the internet, I also have access to being able to find real vintage too giving me a vastly wider selection to choose from than just my local shops. Ahh yes, it's the little things in life. It's nice to be able to buy a pretty cotton shirtwaist dress that doesn't cost an arm and a leg inste4ad of having to make one.
