Brushstrokes

 

I love this print; it reminds me of brushstrokes. Bold, colorful and playful. Last years during Revival Vintage's Black Friday Sale, I stocked up on some new simple shirtwaist dresses including this one which is from the Rock n' Romance brand. I have to say, I am really impressed with this dress, it looks and feels almost like true vintage! When I got it into my hands, it felt even like true vintage! The thrill and the excitement! Right now I am just loving reproduction brands because they get damage or stained then it is not too great a loss. Last fall I had a beautiful cold rayon 1940s dress get ripped because I was attacked by someone's small dog while at a reenactment. Thankfully my dress was all that got truly hurt but I was pretty well scratched. Over the dress I have a House of Foxy Date maker sweater in pearl. I picked this up at their January sale. I was thrilled to see it on sale at last.
