I made this dress a LONG time ago! And although I have been wearing it here and there, this was my first time getting it photographed. This frock was made from a 1943 shirtwaist dress from Eva Dress Patterns. If you have not already figured it out, this is my all time favorite pattern. For this take on it, I chose a really bold red and white marbled print on a cold rayon. A great piece of deadstock I found an even longer time ago. I paired it with these really big and bold white buttons. Other items for this look include my 1940s white wide brimmed hat and other white accessories.
