Florals

 

Florals! I love flowers so I guess it makes sense that I like to wear them. I love this print, the bright yellow against the blue. You have seen this dress before, that's because I have worn it many times. It seems to be a great transitional piece too for summer into autumn. Right now, I am cleaning out my closet and parting with a lot of pieces that I have made, some that I love and some not so much . . .The goal is to learn to live with less clothes and focus on just a few great pieces. I am keeping a lot of my accessories, not all but most, because those are much more space friendly and go with a lot of pieces. 

Actually, I have been having a lot of fun sifting through my closet because I am also simplifying my wardrobe by getting rid of pieces that just don't go with the other things I have. I am parting with the odd colored gloves that never went with anything, the collars that never paired well with my other dresses. I am also parting with the fancy evening dresses that I only ever wore once. Why keep them around? I am keeping a few though, I mean, why not. It has been a fun process and also a rewarding one.
