Stepping Out in a Pink 1940s Linen Suit

My summer has been busy. Busier than usual so that's why I have been silent on here for so long. With that said, I do have some catching up to do and to start, a pink 1940s linen suit. This charming suit is a bubblegum pink linen with cream trimming at the high rounded collar and sleeve. At the neckline there is a cute little tab detail. When I was first planning this outfit, I was leaning towards white but I decided at the last minute to go with red. I am so glad that I did! I love the pop of color it has. 

I love a good suit and I love that this light weight linen makes it perfect for summer or a warm spring day. It's a win-win for me: a smart suit that I can still wear in the warmer calendar days of the year.
