Sometimes you just need a break, or at least I do sometimes. That's why I've been so absent. I needed to focus on taking care of myself and getting some matters in order. I wouldn't say they are settled get but I am getting there each day. Right now I am focusing on enjoying life.
This is a dress that I made myself a long time ago and it is one that I still enjoy. It was made from a late 40s pattern and the material is a dead stock rayon crepe with a black background for the bright flowers in various shades of red and pink. With it I am wearing black glass beads and rhinestone clips.
You do need to take care of yourself at times and can understand the need for a break - I do enjoy your posts though and this dress looks amazing!
